Business Development Lead

Description:

Founded in 1979, Oxford Policy Management was born out of Oxford University’s Department of International Development. Headquartered in Oxford, its focus is on qualitative, meaningful research, especially in government, policy change and impact. Over thirty years later, it has now grown to become a significant international development consulting firm with more than half the 450 staff working across low and middle-income countries mainly in Africa and Asia, with the aim to support growth, while reducing poverty and disadvantage, through public policy reform. OPM works with donor organisations, governments, and NGOs, focusing on research and analysis into areas such as economic development, health, education, climate change and social welfare.

Through their international offices, OPM works in partnership with national decision makers to diagnose policy problems, develop public policy, support its implementation, and evaluate its impact. Bringing together global expertise, the organisation helps governments in these countries to implement impactful public policy that will bring about lasting, positive change.

OPM Australia builds on OPM’s work across South and South East Asia and the Pacific, by deepening OPM’s engagement with public and private sector organisations in the region, including the Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade and the New Zealand Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
