About the Job

• Develop and pitch new business opportunities (c.70% time commitment).
• Generate new business to meet new business targets
• Manage 1-2 existing clients (c.30% time commitment)
• Identify, scope and pursue new business opportunities with target prospects
• Build strong market reputation and relationships with all key targets and ensure regular, meaningful interactions
• Develop clear game plans, innovative approaches to gain business with new clients outside of traditional RFP processes and lead RFPs where relevant
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects by demonstrating deep understanding of their needs and offering relevant and practical insights
• Maintain CRM and all processes associated with client management

About you

• Proven ability to identify, create and convert new business opportunities
• Solid technical understanding of reinsurance, capital & regulations
• Ability to quickly form meaningful relationships with key decision makers within target prospects and to demonstrate value to them in meeting with you.
• Strong market broking skills & deep market relationships
• Excellent client advocacy skills
