The Role:
As a Business Development Director, you are really the driving force of the business. Reporting to the CEO, you will join as the leader-in-charge of (non-digital) sales activities, playing a key role in communicating their vision and educating its importance to all C-suite stakeholders.
- You will work closely with the co-founder to drive the Go-To-Market strategy.
- You will drive revenue for the company on the front lines of net new business leveraging your existing (and new) c-suite relationships, specifically HR leaders, targeting Australian businesses with 200+ employees.
- Using your previous solution selling expertise as part of the value creation process.
- Attending and presenting at industry relevant Expos and Conferences; attend HR and other C-suite breakfasts and all relevant networking functions.
- You will drive revenue for the company leveraging new relationships with target partners (ie: Payroll, Timesheet & HR system providers and others)
- You’re a strategic ‘do-er’ who is willing to get their hands dirty (and not sit around waiting for leads to come to you)
- Achieve monthly and quarterly agreed upon sales targets.
- Eventually build and mentor a team of direct SDR reports
The Candidate:
- You need to come from a software / SaaS background
- Strong experience selling into the HR space (ESSENTIAL!)
- 5+ years experience closing in the software space
- Hunter mindset with the ability to drive the sales process
- Good attitude, with strong attention to detail.
