Our client is a well recognized international law firm with an extremely successful brand and reputation in the market. It has over 77 offices worldwide and operates in over 40 countries and the opportunity for global mobility for all of its employees.

The role will assist in co-ordinating the Business development function oand help in developing a strategic focused, market-leading business-partnering capability which enables the Groups in the Australian offices to win, retain and grow business through consistently high standards. Engaging in the coordination and support execution of thought leadership and provide strong relationship and account management.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Supporting the Partners and acting as their first point of contact for Business development needs
• Supporting with CLient pitches
• Build and maintain close working relationships with colleagues in the global team
• Budget Management
• Coordinating the various activities required to support brand promotion e.g. website content, newsletters, client alerts etc.
• Assist in maximising the benefits to the firm by actively managing the firm's relationships with industry associations and organisations as required from time to time. This could be in the form of sponsorship arrangements, memberships or related events.
• Other ad-hoc duties upon request

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience in a marketing and/or business development role, preferably in a professional services environment
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and developing relationships with them
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Advanced understanding of strategic marketing and communications
• Strong interpersonal skills, including pleasant nature and ability to influence others
• High degree of attention to detail
