Description:

The Business Development and Partnership Coordinator of the Rural Health Innovation Lab (RHIL) is a core position within the La Trobe Rural Health School (LRHS). The position is responsible for establishing and driving partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for the RHIL and LRHS. More specifically, the position is responsible for managing the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Medical) admissions process and stakeholder management. These relationships should be developed to lead to increasing engagement with the work of LRHS and continuous improvement of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Medical) student intake. Furthermore, providing opportunities for LRHS to expand student experience across work integrated learning, placement, and mentorship opportunities. This position consults with the Senior Manager (LRHS) and the Dean, and broader LRHS executive on the strategic direction of stakeholder relations. Here the incumbent will support and add value to both the RHIL and LRHS team.

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and managing workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of University systems and the student life cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An innovative approach to work practices
