This is an exciting opportunity to work for a top tier Law firm in gorgeous offices based in the most fabulous CBD location. You will be an integral part of the Marketing and Business Development team and will report to the Head of BD & Marketing Executive. The role will be exciting, interesting, and challenging, with no two days being the same. As a junior advisor you will be responsible for assisting with brand awareness, client engagement, social media presence, advising and guiding on submissions and tenders plus all-round promotion of different practice areas for this fabulous Firm. We are open to different types of business development, sales, marketing and research market experiences and backgrounds. A background or exposure in the Legal industry would be highly, highly regarded.


THE ROLE

  • Contributing to the delivery of the firm’s marketing and business development plans
  • Proactively build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, managers, other staff, clients and external service providers
  • Implementation of the firm’s business development strategies and contribution to the growth and future direction of the BDM team
  • Regular market research, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions where possible
  • Managing the delivery of capability statements, proposals, and all other collateral in support of business growth
  • Analysis of data and preparation of reports for key stakeholders on various marketing platforms and campaigns
  • Engaging with practice groups to understand business development plans and related activities providing high levels of support
  • Provide support in relation to submissions, tenders and Awards opportunities
  • Strong focus on building personal brands within different practice areas of the Firm

THE RIGHT PERSON

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar business development/sales/marketing role
  • Prior experience in professional services is required, preferably within the Legal sector
  • Proactive attitude to client services, managing internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and taking accountability
  • High energy and strong influencing skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking with continual engagement and interest in market activity
  • Ability to relay this information in a succinct and professional way
