About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Export Sales - Business Development/Account Manager to join our team! We are looking for a team player, who is able to foster strong relationships with international and varied cultures. As part of this role you will report directly to the National Sales Manager helping to develop, manage, and grow the export sales market throughout our already established global network while being professional, diligent, and most importantly passionate.
This is a Full-time role with opportunities for national and international travel.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships within our current Export Pioneer Network.
- Be involved in all levels of the sales process, including accessing customer needs and then providing accurate and profitable quotes, develop organised follow-up process and be able to close deals.
- Liaise between customers, clients and Pioneers Management Team and be involved in tailoring and implementing business strategies that best suits each countries individual needs.
- Be able to facilitate sales and business methodology trainings for other already experienced staff.
- Represent the company professionally and further develop our brand and customer relationships at out-of-office events, like national & international conferences.
- Expedite resolutions of customer problems and complaints and ensure all parties are satisfied with the outcomes.
- Liaise with our marketing, operations, logistics and manufacturing teams to maximise profitability and minimise issues.
- Search and develop new market opportunities.
- Understand the technical aspects of tanks and the many variants that can affect performance and become proficient in this field.
- Plan and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time investment for each region we are involved with.
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Be actively involved in providing ideas for improvement of not only Pioneers product range but also, the systems used to present them.
- Due to the nature of this role always maintain mutual respect, personal growth, and encourage new ideas to help grow the business.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in International sales processes, although strong sales experience alone, will be considered.
- Familiar with logistical requirements for global trade.
- Rural sales or rural industry experience.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong workplace relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and able to work well in fast pace environments.
- Is customer focussed and able to resolve and deescalate any issues that arise.
- Current Driver’s Licence and passport.
