About The Role

Based in Adelaide (Gepps Cross) we have an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join the Schneider team in the capacity of Business Development Manager serving the Switchboard building community.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Promotion of Schneider Electric’s products and solutions to major switchboard manufacturers
  • Achieve growth and positive customer satisfaction while capturing and nurturing business opportunities whilst maintaining day to day business
  • Saturate the Switchboard Builder Channel with complete Schneider Offers and solutions across all business units, fostering collaboration at all levels
  • Working closely with switchboard builders to find efficiencies in their designs and advantages of using Schneider Electric products and digital tools and services.

In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:

  • Extensive and demonstrable sales success within the switchboard manufacturing or LV manufacturing channel
  • Experience in the electrical consultant, EPC or major contractor environment is advantageous, as is a technical or trade qualification
  • You will have a thorough understanding of local market trends, conditions, and drivers in and success in the specification channels
  • Honed communication, presentation, negotiation, and business relationship building skills
  • High level of computer literacy, your time and stakeholder management skills are complemented with unwavering team player attributes
