Business Analyst

Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that business and project objectives are met by understanding business requirements, and change needs, assessing the impact of change, capturing and documenting requirements and then ensuring that those requirements are delivered by internal resources or external providers.

• Review functional and technical requirements with vendors/developers to ensure business issues/requirements are adequately resolved/reflected in systems and/or technical planning documents
• Manage new or unmet requirements through configuration, workarounds, or change requests
• Provide meaningful guidance and recommendations for maximising business effectiveness with standard process and systems
• Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts
• Document detailed business objectives and requirements, including process mapping
• Act as a dedicated project resource managing single or multiple initiatives depending on the business needs
• Participate in deployment planning, execution, and hyper-care

You possess a strong understanding of IT landscapes and data movements. You are experienced with business process mapping and optimisation, ideally within the FMCG industry with an understanding of supply chain and manufacturing. Your excellent stakeholder management skills enable you to adapt to multiple demands and manage business needs in a rapidly changing environment.

• Experience conducting IT Business Analyst work including some systems analysis
• Experience with test design and execution of complex systems
• Knowledge of programming to query and consume data, self-serve tools and dashboards to generate reports, presentations, and analysis for business decision making
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand business strategies and review requirements against them
• Service orientation and ability to translate technical ideas and complex systems into non-technical language
• Skills in Integration would be highly regarded
