South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network is looking for Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for the development, planning, co-ordination, implementation and communication of projects, initiatives and strategies across the Business Intelligence directorate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Analyst you will manage projects tasks that include but are not limited to planning, engaging resources, and documenting and supporting transitions within the Business Intelligence (BI) directorate. The role will also be responsible for documentation, planning, co-ordination and implementing projects across directorates.

To successfully fulfil this role, you are required to have experience with end-to-end delivery life cycles including detailed analysis, requirement elicitation, management, traceability, documenting, acceptance criteria and produce as-is and to-be process maps.

The role is highly collaborative and involves working with cross-functional teams with the ability to educate and improve business analysis capabilities, standards, and processes.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in IT, data science, business or equivalent, and/or extensive relevant work experience.

You will also have:

• Project management / senior business analyst experience.
• Extensive experience with various operating systems; broad based CRM’s, data integrity; system upgrades, report preparation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude and the ability to train and educate new and existing users.
• Experience working within or for a government agency and/or large organisation
