Business Analyst

Description:

Since their inception five years ago, our client has grown rapidly in the Supply Chain consultancy arena, delivering high-complex Supply Chain solutions for warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, or all three. They are continuing this evolution by looking to add a WMS Business Analyst to their ranks. This hybrid working arrangement can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Purpose of the Role

As part of the technology service team, use data and research to optimize and improve the processes and operations within a warehouse facility. Primary goal being to ensure the WMS software and related technologies meet all the business requirements of the organization. The functions prioritize connecting the functional requirements of a warehouse and its operations with the technical capabilities of the WMS system.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:
 

• Face to face key stakeholder interaction to Evaluate and analyze any existing warehouse systems, process, workflows, and data flows to identify areas of improvement
• Use evaluation and analysis data to conform a solution design, by feeding data and requirements through software vendors and system architects to create a WMS that meets varying business requirements
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the warehouse operations
• Collaborate with technical teams to configure and customize the WMS software according to specific business requirements, ensuring the system is set to support efficient warehouse operations
• Develop user acceptance test scripts and work with end users to verify the functionality of the WMS system
• Manage and monitor the integration of the WMS system data
