Description:
The Building Performance Analyst (BPA) is responsible for the identification and delivery of new operational efficiency opportunities across our living centre portfolio to drive improved commercial, customer experience (CX) and environmental outcomes.
This role provides central support to in centre teams on key building systems such as HVAC (through Building Management Systems and Analytics), Lighting Control, Vertical Transport and Electrical & Water Metering.
Day to day, your role might include:
- Collate, clean, verify, interrogate, and analyse data to inform business decisions but also play a key role in the communication and presentation of insights to all relevant stakeholders both internal and external
- Review and analyse data from various data streams/sources in the operational environment of buildings and property management including Building Management Systems, HVAC, Building Analytics, Vertical Transport, Contractor Performance and Management systems
- Develop a strong understanding of end outcome impacts for customers, retail partners, contractors, and operational employees, ensuring positive outcomes for clients/customers
- Present data in a clear and concise manner, displaying both quantifiable and non-quantifiable benefits and identifying likely trends and impacts over the short, medium, and long terms
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including property management, leasing, development, design and construction to develop and implement effective strategies for the successful management of large & complex property assets.
This job opportunity is available for a fixed-term period of 18 months initially, the contract may be extended, or the position may be made permanent, depending on the company's requirements.
What will set you apart from the rest?
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in any of the following: Building Services, Engineering, Building Automation, Design and Construction Management, Facilities Management
- Experience with complex building systems such as Mechanical Services & Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Understand asset specific details, processes, infrastructure, and personnel capabilities when presenting and communicating opportunities
- Advanced database and MS Excel skills and experience
- Experience and familiarity with Cloud and Edge computing technologies, ML and IoT will be viewed favourably as well as familiarity with the following software: Google Big Query, AWS, Azure, SkySpark, Tableau, PowerBI and other analytics tools utilised in the built environment.
