Your new role
Our client is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Engineer to join their team based at their Melbourne-based site in the SE suburbs. Reporting to the BAS Coordinator, you will be responsible for undertaking HVAC and Building Automation Systems design, configuration, programming, documentation, testing and commissioning. Identifying key stakeholders and providing excellent customer service is paramount to this role. Occasional travel will be required to all Melbourne-based locations. Coverage for critical building infrastructure and equipment is essential, applicants must be available for an on-call rotating roster once every 5 weeks.

• Resolve reactive maintenance work order logged in the CMMS and scheduled maintenance tasks
• Identify opportunities to save energy and maintenance costs
• Report on critical incidents and monitor and respond to BAS alarms

You will need demonstrated experience working with Building Automation Systems for complex sites. Experience with and certification in Tridium Niagara is essential for the role.
 

• HVAC & Building Automation Systems design experience
• Niagara TCP certification ideal
• Large enterprise network and server experience or qualifications. Be able to work closely with our Information Technology team (servers, Windows, networks, cyber, security, database) for day-to-day tasks and enablement of organisations Smart Building and Net Zero goals
• Strong problem solving and fault-finding skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
