Broadcast Technologist

Description:

The Technology Services team located onsite in Perth provides vital support services to content makers in Perth as well as regional locations. Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will deliver high quality technical services to ABC users in Perth and at our WA regional stations, to ensure broadcast continuity. Under routine direction, you will:

• Provide advanced technical support to maintain broadcast and associated facilities & equipment.
• Undertake assessment and triage of technical operational activities and perform advanced diagnosis.
• Perform planning, installation & commissioning of broadcast and associated systems to support minor and capital works as required.

About You

You are a natural communicator and collaborator with a strong client focus, and a passion for technology. You have the necessary advanced capability in technical support functions, including troubleshooting, fault resolution, maintenance, upgrades, installation and operations to get up to speed quickly in this role. The step up into this more senior technology role will require you to demonstrate:
