Brand Manager

 

Description:


We are looking for a marketing/brand professional to join the team for a 7-8 month contract commencing at the end of January, 2024. Reporting to the Marketing & Strategy Manager, this role will be responsible for contributing to the brand strategy and delivery - working across a brand portfolio with various responsibilities including: brand strategy and development, brand business plan, multi-channel communications, financial analysis and performance etc.

Key Responsibilities

Brand development
 

  • Champion new product development projects by liaising with cross functional teams both domestic and international. Day to day correspondence is likely to be concentrated within the sales, operations, supply chain and finance teams
  • Preparation of presentations for meetings and launch events as well as promotional and display materials
  • Coordinating P.R events, sampling, sales force and merchandiser briefs
     

Marketing plan
 

  • Lead the implementation of marketing activities including advertising, media, consumer promotions, packaging and point of sale development and trade promotions as required
  • Track performance on key business initiatives and recommend/lead/motivate all related departments for remedial activities
  • Execute and/or propose changes if required the agreed brand marketing budget, through accurate forecasting, processing, tracking and reporting of expenditure
  • Management of stage and gate approval processes in conjunction with Global Brand Teams
     

Brand performance and market analysis
 

  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on brand performance
  • Analysis of external data sources (Aztec, Nielsen, Shopper view etc.) and utilise insights in the preparation of brand performance reports for internal and external customers
  • Preparation of briefs for consumer and product research to identify purchase behaviour insights that drives our new product development process
     

About You
 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in brand or agency management within a high volume FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Experience in sales/brand marketing related roles
  • Existing ABM’s highly encouraged to apply
