Reporting to the Area Director, this role will partner with various team’s leadership personnel to manage branch operations and administration in our Parramatta office, comprised of approximately 20-25 employees.
You will be responsible for the branch’s operations and drive an efficient and productive office environment. You will also drive growth of insurance business by developing strategies and plans to maximise operational efficiencies.
You will be responsible and have accountability for all operational metrics which include:

  • Having input into branch strategy and implementation
  • Being involved in project work to simplify process across the 4 metro branches in NSW
  • Debtor and credit management
  • Driving and influencing client service and engagement standards
  • Driving utilisation of our processing centre
  • Supporting and driving key business change initiatives
  • Client retention – supporting branch leaders with our Strategic Account Reviews
  • Complete ownership of the expense budget within the branch
  • Manage leave (annual, personal and long service leave) for branch and ensure leave liability is reduced, where possible
  • Driving and implementing operational initiatives to maximise efficiencies
  • Supporting branch compliance and quality assurance standards

This is a great opportunity and to be considered you will have previous experience in an operational leadership role coupled with a minimum of 4 years exposure to insurance broking, underwriting or claims. In addition, you will be/have:

  • Able to demonstrate you have contributed to the growth of a business through strong operational governance and management
  • Able to identify risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and processes
  • Resilient, confident and inquisitive, with the ability to engage, extract, collaborate and influence
  • Financially and commercially savvy with proven administration skills
  • Be a change advocate and have the ability to take teams on the journey to ensure change is understood and implemented across the teams.
