The successful candidate should have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have agency experience or an understanding of the fast-paced, project-based world in a creative / event agency or similar.

Ke Creative Events is a creative and diverse full-service event management company with head office in St Kilda Road Melbourne, with national and international operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Management of accounts payable and receivable; checking costs against multiple individual budgets;
- Management of corporate credit cards / stripe accounts
- Assistance with monthly P&L reporting to CEO (including event budget reconciliation) against individual event projects
- Management of multiple event projects – checking in with Account Managers on project expenses and income
- Cash flow forecasting across various event projects
- Bank reconciliation;
- Fortnightly payroll under Awards, superannuation compliance
- Maintain the asset register
- Quarterly BAS, monthly IAS preparation, Company Income, Tax return, payroll tax
- On-site administration and accounting/bookkeeping;
- Support with month end/year end process;
- Administrative support and ad hoc tasks.
To be successful you must have:
- The ability to confidently use Quickbooks, including integrations for time sheets & receipts
- Excellent attention to detail in order perform the role with a high degree of accuracy;
- An understanding of the general workflow of accounting systems;
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role;
- The ability to work autonomously and part of a small team;
- Excellent understanding of accounting against projects
