Blended Learning Transformation Consultant

Description:

This exciting new position has been created to drive the Blended Learning Strategic Initiative and enable both innovation and improvement to the teaching and learning offerings across the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Group.

In this role you will provide direction and expertise to managers, senior educators and teachers in the design/re-design phase of the strategy and drive forward the transformation progress to align with the University targets.

To be success in the role you will have experience with high level of stakeholder management and substantial understanding of the vocational education teaching and learning experience.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Strong grasp of pedagogical principles and educational and learning design philosophies, strategies and theories, and demonstrated ability to apply those concepts in a blended learning context in Vocational Education
• Significant experience in designing authentic blended learning and assessment strategies and innovative engaging online/digital learning approaches, and in adapting educational models
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage a range of stakeholders and work co-operatively
• Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor)
• AQF5 level (or above) qualification in education or learning design
• Relevant degree or vocational qualification
• Post Graduate qualification in education or learning design (or working towards)
