About the role:
As a Banking Services Officer in our Banking Services Team you will proactively provide subject matter expertise and undertake assigned tasks to support the delivery of professional customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to stakeholders for all banking deposit related products and services including the provision of legislative advice (AML, Privacy Act, ATO, Power of Attorney and Deceased Estate administration, etc.)
  • Accurately complete banking deposit related service functions and tasks within agreed service levels including preparation of information responses to customers, legal representatives, government agencies and other external bodies.
  • Maintain accurate records / statistics in relevant internal data systems to assist with ongoing business management.
  • Assist with management and monitoring of operational risks, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry regulations.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and positive participation in implementation.

About You:
We are looking for a customer service champion who has excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. You will also have a keen eye for detail and strong problem solving skills.

  • Banking and financial services industry experience
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated, professional and innovative approach to work
