About the Role:
- I'm looking for multiple backend engineers either (Senior OR Mid) who have in depth experience with backend programming from planning, designing, developing, testing and deployment.
- Heavily involved in Laravel development.
- Strong with scalable software.
- Good experience with fast paced environments.
- Unit Testing on PHPunit or Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Working on high-performance platform, enhancements, extensions, API's and adding on new customised features.
- SOLID Principals. Design patterns and OOP (Object orientated programming)
- Create new ideas and bring them to the table!
- You’ll be working on heavy backend development and be given the opportunity to work on the latest frameworks and rolling out the deployment to live production.
Key Requirements
- Ideally 8 years exp or more in the industry focusing on backend software architecture.
- Experience with PHP 8.x (Need at least 7+ years exp in PHP)
- Experience with Laravel 9.x - 11.x (Need at least 5+ years exp)
- SOLID Principals & Design Patterns (important)
- Docker
- MySQL
- Event Driven Architecture (bonus but not required)
- (AWS) Amazon Web Services
- Relevant qualifications in Software Engineering/Development
- Understanding and knowledge of unit tests and functional tests
- Understanding of modern software design practices
- Solid technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Experience in writing SQL queries
