We’re excited to have a new member as an Automation Lead in Swinburne’s IT space. The successful incumbent will not only have the technical skills for the role, but they will also have excellent communications skills as they will need to explain niche topics to a range of stakeholders; furthermore, they will have excellent stakeholder management and people skills to manage successful working relationships.

The primary objective of the position is to play a leading role in the implementation of process automation at University of Swinburne, creating automations that deliver productivity and quality gains and allow our colleagues to focus on what matters the most to our customers. The automation Lead will play a leading role in delivering innovative solutions to business problems, building awareness across the organization of the potential for automation and finding new ways to make things better through technology.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using I Path.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing complex technical designs and interpretation of technical specification documents.
  • Demonstrated experience in work prioritisation, judgement and decision making.
  • A working knowledge of SQL, Java, JavaScript, .Net, VBScript and HTML.
  • A working knowledge of system integration concepts and tools such as Mulesoft.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability develop high quality presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience in developing and integrating automated processes in live environments.
