Description:
The Associate Director’s role will primarily focus on the Technology sector and will be collaborating with the Director, Technology on Technology business strategy and client insights, including working alongside Coverage and Credit Risk colleagues, as well as a broad range of product specialists e.g. Transactional Banking, Markets, DCM and Loan Syndications.
As an Associate Director, you will:
- Structure and document: A proven background in transaction structuring and legal documentation;
- Assist in executing transactions: Preparing, reviewing and decisioning credit submissions, employing financial modelling, and making recommendations on transactions to senior management and Credit;
- Oversee workflow management between key stakeholders: i.e. Client Coverage, Product Specialists, Credit and client support teams, to achieve a seamless client experience;
- Proactively support Client Coverage: by generating valued client and industry insights and business opportunities.
- Coach junior team members: through training, exemplary behaviours and role modelling;
- Contribute to the Corporate Finance 5 initiatives: Customers, Team, Shareholders, Community and Innovation, through involvement in Corporate Finance initiatives beyond the everyday role.
About you:
- Extensive prior experience in working with Institutional / Corporate Banking clients in an analytical or comparable role including relevant industry / client experience in the Technology/Corporate segment.
- A natural team player, you’ll align yourself to a diverse portfolio of Technology clients. Working with the Client Coverage team you will continually improve our customer service delivery model whilst balancing the risk appetite of the Bank.
- An understanding of credit analysis in the Institutional / Investment banking environment coupled with experience in transactional structuring and financial markets products.
- Tertiary qualification in a Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce discipline.
