Reporting to the Director (Academic Quality Unit), you will work closely with key stakeholders within the University to provide integrated and holistic support, services and resources to help our academics develop their learning and teaching skills, knowledge, scholarship and practice. You will:

  • lead the implementation of curriculum quality and credit initiatives across the University to support and contribute to the creation of a sustainable and strategic program portfolio
  • provide expertise and experience in the implementation of curriculum quality initiatives by supporting staff to review and evaluate their programs and the student life-cycle using data-driven methodologies
  • assist program teams to evaluate recognition of prior learning and credit requests using a methodical framework which may be applied consistently and equitably across the University.

Your experience in a tertiary education setting, specifically in the areas of curriculum quality assurance, credit, exemption, curriculum design, recognition of prior learning, will be critical to your success in this role. You will also have:

  • relevant postgraduate qualifications
  • excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • proven knowledge of educational theory and practice, including recent experience with curriculum renewal and transformation
  • experience in the preparation of professional documentation for various audiences, and a demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of clients and colleagues
  • demonstrated excellence in teaching or professional development in higher education
  • demonstrated high-level ability to lead, motivate, and empower staff in a distributed team environment to deliver excellent work performance and outcomes.
