Assistant Youth Minister

At St Andrew’s Roseville, we are responding to Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20 to be Growing Disciples of Jesus Christ. As our Youth Ministry grows, we are looking for the right person to assist in championing this vision amongst the youth. Roseville is in the heart of the North Shore of Sydney, next door to bustling Chatswood. However, Roseville has been able to hold onto its village feel. St Andrew’s ministry is growing with over 100 youth impacted by our youth ministry (The Friday Youth program called Revive, Sunday Bible studies, Scripture in Schools) we believe that there is real opportunity to extend our impact for the gospel – not only in Roseville, but the surrounding communities.

We are looking for a passionate and humble Assistant Youth Minister (part-time) to assist our Youth Minister in equipping and teaching our youth and youth leaders at our youth group, Revive. Ideally, we are looking for someone who would be keen to commit to this role for a minimum of 2 years and there is potential for this position to grow into a full-time role in the future.

• Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Assist in preparing and running of the Revive program on Sundays at 10:30am
• Run SNR (Years 10-12) prayer triplets on Sundays at 5:30pm-6:15pm
• Assist in preparing and running of the Revive program on Friday nights 5pm-9pm
• Meeting up with two Revive students to read the bible fortnightly
• Assist with Revive admin
• Teach one scripture class during the week
• Attend and assist where necessary at the 6:30pm Sunday congregation.
• Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Youth Minister
