The Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Program is one of the key workstreams and aims to build new schools using modern methods of construction such as offsite manufacturing and onsite assembly to deliver new schools. The success of the pilot projects have demonstrated significant safety, sustainability. Productivity, quality efficiencies and social outcomes that benefit Government, industry and communities.

About the role

Undertake a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established project plans and objectives. The successful applicant will be part of a high functioning team of quality professionals committed to the continuous improvement of School Infrastructure.

Role-specific responsibilities include:

  • Supporting in the management of consultant team covering commercial advisory, project management, financial management, legal, probity and procurement.
  • Preparation and co-ordination of the activities for the Executive Steering Committee
  • Supporting in program monitoring, guidance and assistance to MMC cluster and project delivery teams
  • Support to the MMC delivery teams in respect of procurement and construction activities
  • Support the MMC team in the evolution of the program and continuous improvement
