Assistant Principal

Description:

The position of Assistant Principal: Students acknowledges the importance of supporting and promoting a contemporary Catholic educational vision with a focus on the student as a learner and person within Catholic schools. The Assistant Principal: Students focuses on providing leadership in assisting the principal to develop and maintain physical and human resources in order to deliver effective education programs within the college according to CEDR policies and practices.

The Assistant Principal Student Formation acts under the direction of the Principal. As a member of the College Leadership Team, the Assistant Principal is committed to Chanel College Mission.

• has experience of leading school-based initiatives
• can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and lead the development and implementation of
• school improvement initiatives
• has the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within the school and with the local community
• is willing to provide leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the AP Students duty statement, and
  • can lead in ways that are consistent with the message of Jesus and the Gospels
