Assistant Manager

Description:

The Assistant Manager is responsible, as the second in charge, for the operation of a Mud Australia store as well as the growth of Mud Australia’s brand and reputation.

This role provides team leadership and optimises retail sales and profitability, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and operational performance.

In addition to the responsibility for retail sales, the Assistant Manager will work closely with the Mud Australia team to implement operating policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience and uphold the values of Mud Australia.

Ideally you will have:

• Prior experience working in retail
• Leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate staff to achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic IT skills (MS office and POS software)
• Customer service oriented
• Self-motivated and hardworking with a solutions’ focus, exacting standards and attention to detail
• Sales focused and results driven with keen interest in business growth
• Eager to become the expert on our range, its manufacture and many uses
