What You Will Do
- Quantifying gaps in cyber resilience, maturity, or capability;
- Designing or executing strategies and programs to address known gaps or build governance capabilities;
- Measuring and assessing compliance against standards such as NIST, ISO27001, ISM or the ACSC Essential 8;
- Establishing cyber and privacy risk management programs;
- Developing and enhancing third party and cyber supply chain security and resilience programs;
- Preparing detailed written reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualisations;
- Preparing and presenting your work as part of client briefings in person;
- Identify appropriate security controls and provide recommendations to enhance and deploy security solutions in complex production environments;
- Developing written proposals and deliverables independently and in teams;
- Work closely with our team members and clients, maintaining a professional and supportive environment including mentoring and developing those with less experience;
- Maintaining a willingness to learn and grow, combining the attributes of independent self-starter with mature adult learner;
- Manage engagement risks and maintain high quality on all projects;
- Maintain confidentiality of our clients, their information, and data; and
- Continuously strengthening our client relations through excellent client service
Who You Are
- Hold a degree or similar qualification (or demonstrated combination of training, certification, work experience and technical expertise);
- Developing proficiency and a passion for government cyber security, including the technical aspects of cyber / information security / information governance & privacy.
- Experience performing relevant Cyber Risk & Strategy projects, such as the establishment of safety and awareness programs, conducting security risk assessments, cybersecurity incident / data breach response desktop scenario tests, etc.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Ambition, drive, and determination;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Fantastic team work skills, a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
- Due to the nature of work, applicants must be Australian citizens and currently hold a security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
