Role Overview:
The Assistant Management Accountant will report directly into the National Commercial Manager and provide support and assistance across the entire divisional team. Accurately utilising financial information to assess the organisation’s fiscal soundness and to develop a foundation for effective decision making.

You will show your commercial acumen by taking action to maximise the contribution of own area to the company’s profitability and growth. This involves constantly looking for opportunities to improve business performance; managing business operations to maintain competitive advantage; making cost-benefit decisions; using “business savvy” and consideration of organisational constraints and resources.

Responsibilities:

• Month-End; accruals, reconciliations, reporting, general ledger and forecasting.
• Pricing & Tendering support.
• Budgeting and KPI reporting
• Data integration.
• Project planning & organising

Candidate Profile:

• You are degree qualified Accountant, with or working toward a CA/ CPA qualification.
• 3 years + experience with demonstrable financial reporting and month end skill set.
• You will have advanced MS Excel skills and are systems savvy.
• Budgeting experience.
• You will possess confident, engaging, and compelling communication skills both written and oral.
• Pricing and/or Tendering experience with a labour component highly regarded but not essential.
• Driven to learn, show’s initiative and follow through.
• Previously in medium to large organisations who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Happy to get their hands dirty to support the team, who in return will provide excellent support, learnings and guidance.
