Assistant Accountant

Description:

DRD are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant for a leading infrastructure company in the Gold Coast.

About The Role
 

• Monday - Friday, 38 hours a week
• 7am - 3pm with some flexibility
• Great opportunity for someone starting their Accountancy Career or for someone who recently obtained their degree
• 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.
   

Responsibilities:
 

• Assisting finance team with backlogs and claims.
• Support the finance teams with month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and claim preparation.
• Raise purchase orders
• Manage invoice approval process and goods receipting
• Additional reports when needed
• Working alongside Financial lead and Accountants
