• An exciting role is available at Swinburne University for a Lecturer, Architecture. Working as an academic in the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design, the successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum development, teaching and research.
  
  Contributing to the student experience and teaching quality, the successful applicant will bring with them experience as a practicing architect, as well as strong industry connections. Working alongside other academics within the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design, the Lecturer, Architecture will contribute to the school’s objectives as a leading institute for design education and research.

• Demonstrated ability to manage curriculum, and high-quality teaching in Architecture with outstanding graduate outcomes
• An emerging track record of high-quality research in Architecture or other related areas, as evidenced by publications and non-traditional research outcomes
• An emerging track record in attracting external research income through competitive grants and/or industry collaboration
• Demonstrated professional practice as an architect in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry (a minimum of three years’ experience), strong professional networks and evidence of expertise in design
• An earned doctoral qualification in Architecture or associated field
• Membership of an appropriate Professional body
