The Opportunity

You will be joining a newly created digital team within a small agency, with the mission of creating meaningful, engaging and informative content relating to natural disaster impacted communities.

As part of this role will be to create a content strategy. You will then use your creativity and passion for design to execute this strategy.

This is an exciting role that offers you the opportunity to give back to your country.

An initial 6 month contract will be offered, with the very strong chance that this will become on-going/extended long term. There is no telling where your career within this Department could go!

This position can be located in either Brisbane or Canberra.

Key duties will include:

• Developing digital collateral including web planners, templates, newsletters, social media
• Developing print collateral including pull-up banners, merchandise, business cards and fact sheets
• Developing products for case studies including templates, video storyboarding

Skills nd Experience required:

Previous Graphic Design in either the private sector or APS is essential. Private sector candidates looking for their first APS opportunity are highly encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

A baseline clearance is required for this position; however the Department is willing to sponsor this for the successful candidate. To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be an Australian Citizen.
