Public Sector People are partnering with a High-profile State government Department in BRISBANE CBD to recruit an experienced AO8 Program Coordinator for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract position on our Client payroll with possible + extension options at the end of the contract.

As the Program Coordinator, you will support the Program Manager of the Digital Modernisation Program in ensuring effective management and governance is in place for the program. The position will support the delivery and reporting of program outcomes and deliverables.

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
 

  • Provide program coordination by supporting the scheduling of program activities and tasks to meet deadlines, and commitments and deliver on program objectives.
  • Creation and ongoing tracking, analysis, and maintenance of a master integrated schedule for the Program. This will involve compiling and moderating numerous projects/work streams to ensure coordinated and timely delivery of project milestones as well as monitoring internal and external dependencies.
  • Prepare program and project artefact materials and reports, demonstrating high-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality project and program reporting aligned with governance and assurance frameworks, including progress and performance reports, data analysis and graphical report presentations.
  • Provide advice to support strong governance including data analysis, systems thinking, risk minimisation and issue resolution.
  • Lead, participate, guide, and influence the development and continual improvement of program/project governance controls.
  • Ongoing support to our program team and external delivery partner, working with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders that manage, report, and deliver the program and related projects.
  • Provide effective leadership and management to staff to ensure they are suitably skilled and motivated to undertake their responsibilities to achieve program deliverables and objectives, and performance requirements.
  • Provide high-quality secretariat support to the Program Board, ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
     

About you:
 

  • You have a proven track record in a Project or Programme role ideally within Government.
  • You are keen to develop your career and be part of an amazing transformation project!
  • You have Qualifications in Either Prince2 / PMBOK / MSP or Agile
  • You are passionate about Digital Transformation and Customer-centricity.
  • Previous Government Experience is essential.
