As an Analytics Advisor in Commercial & Consumer Markets, you will be looking to identify opportunities to improve growth and profitability across the products/customer segments in the portfolio. This crucial role supports ongoing pricing analytics for current CTP schemes which are quite dynamic and helps ensure our portfolios remain viable whilst meeting risk and shareholder objectives.

What You’ll Do
 

• Looking at pricing from a customer and business perspective with active involvement in the commercialisation of rates
• Performance tracking and portfolio segmentation across a variety of traditional and non-traditional dimensions and portfolio KPI’s (e.g. mix, profitability, conversion, retention etc.)
• Monitoring adequacy of additional components of the price like admin, commission & reinsurance expenses
• Keeping abreast of market trends, providing competitor insights using internal & external data
• Driving new approaches and understanding of the portfolio/customers including tactical pricing, optimisation, demand/elasticity modelling etc as well as adhoc analysis/deep dives.
   

What You Will Bring
 

• Preferred 3+ years' experience in General Insurance with relevant qualifications
• Demonstrable experience within a similar position within the financial services industry or General insurance Industry
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Business, Finance, Commerce, Actuarial)
• Working Knowledge of Insurance product and Pricing Processes
• Ability to work with a variety of data manipulation, modelling and visualisation tools
• Intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn new approaches, technology quickly.
