About the Faculty/Group
The Student Experience Division currently has an exciting opportunity for two casual administrative officers within the Alumni relations and Student Scholarships team. The Student Experience Division is responsible for all aspects of the student experience at UNE to ensure quality of provision from enrolment to graduation and what follows. Through institutional collaboration the Division supports the University's strategy, in ensuring all UNE students and UNE graduates have an experience which supports and enables their academic success and future life course progress.
About the role
The Alumni Relations and Student Scholarships Officer is responsible for the provision of administrative and systems support through the Alumni Relations and Student Scholarship Office. The incumbent provides client centric services through the delivery of database entry and maintenance, administrative support to student scholarships, as well as supporting communications to alumni, donors and other stakeholders. This role has a pivotal role to ensure: integration of system software, database administration and reporting; timely information flow and effective communication with other internal UNE stakeholders; implementation and maintenance of effective processes, accurate data entry and efficient administrative systems within the Office. This position reports
to the Manager, Alumni Relations and Student Scholarships and operates under their general supervision.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated in depth system experience, including producing reports, data entry, modelling and analysis.
  • Demonstrated numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to think laterally in relation to issues to deliver a range of outcomes.
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise work, plan and co-ordinate projects, exercise initiative and judgement and meet strict deadlines whilst working both independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills and ability to produce finished content (reports, analysis, presentations etc) in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills including the ability to professionally interact with a range of stakeholders while maintaining diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.
