Alumni Engagement Officer

Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the alumni engagement program and alumni team by delivering digital engagement including mass emails using a digital marketing platform, supporting alumni events, recording alumni engagement using the alumni relational database Raiser’s Edge; and managing ad hoc administrative tasks where needed. Experience with digital engagement such as mass email communication and basic content writing would be beneficial to working successfully within this role.

Experience with customer service, administration and working in a fast-paced environment will also be useful in this role, as the Alumni Engagement officer will also monitor the alumni inbox, fulfilling, and triaging queries and requests that come through to the team.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Experience of developing and delivering successful digital engagement, including the coordination of the alumni e-newsletters and other alumni communications.
• Experience in supporting engagement programs including events, invitations, and logistics.
• Experience working within a large fast-paced environment, with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, including communications planning, scheduling, and reporting to deadlines.

Qualifications

• A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
