Admissions Officer

 

Description:

The Admissions Officer will ensure the provision of a high level of customer service to potential residents and their families from initial contact, and throughout all preadmission and admission processes. With a strong focus on excellent customer services the Admissions Officer will work collaboratively with Residential Service Manager and Senior Care Manager to:

  • Coordinate the process of engaging potential residents including conducting and/or following up site tours with families/carers, liaising with referrers and responding to queries
  • Provide advice and support in establishing the financial arrangements of incoming residents
  • Ensure relevant contractual and supporting documentation is complete, accurate and timely and complies with relevant legislation and organisational policy
  • Provide advice and support to ensure an efficient and effective resident admission process at residential sites in the region/area
  • Develop a relationship with potential residents/families/carers to facilitate management of the process to successful admission
