Administrative Assistant

 

Description:


You will be responsible for providing administration support to the Community Health Nurse and broader YPHS nursing team, acting as first point of contact you will schedule fortnightly outreach visits to youth refugees, update patient details and demographics on the electronic medical record, order and maintain stock supplies and assist with the development of fact sheets, flyers and funding grants.

Classification for this position will range from A021- A025 (base salary per annum, plus superannuation)

What You’ll Achieve
 

  • Provide high level customer service to patients and team members whilst acting as first point of contact for the program
  • Coordinate with accommodation support workers to create scheduled visits to youth refugees
  • Assist the Community Health Nurse to create fact sheets and flyers addressing mental health and wellbeing while staying in temporary accommodation
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Departments Administrative team
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure mandatory training modules are completed within the rectification window
     

Your Skills And Experience
 

  • Previous administrative experience supporting a small team in a hospital or office setting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with software packages such as Word, Excel, Teams
  • Previous experience creating fact sheets or flyers - desirable
