Administration Assistant

 

Description:

As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering effective administrative support and customer service within the health service department.

Reporting to the Medical Practice Manager of Swinburne Health Service, you will be expected to perform administrative tasks and reception duties using business and communication strategies to provide a high-level administrative support to staff and contractors within the service.

The incumbent is required to be flexible in hours to cover practice working hours, which are from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in a busy front of house medical reception.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with sound knowledge of administrative and clerical processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to understand and communicate with people from other cultures, and clients with varying abilities, and to respond appropriately to complex and often sensitive situations in confidence.
  • Excellent knowledge of computers and relevant software.
