Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking a skilled Accountant with expertise in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the sector.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with BAS preparation and coordinate annual reporting with external accounting services.
  • Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.
  • Prepare and analyze budgeting and forecasting reports.
  • Compile and submit BAS, PAYG, and payroll-related obligations.
  • Address and resolve ad-hoc financial queries efficiently.
     

About You:
 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within the construction or other project-based industries.
  • Proficient in using Xero for financial management and reporting.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial processes and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
