Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a busy, hands-on, full-function role where you will have responsibility for your own diverse ledger of customers.

You will be self-motivated to achieve individual targets and assist your team to achieve theirs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and provide learning and development strategies. You will have proven experience working in a dynamic and continually changing environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Full function credit control
  • Responsibility for a mixed ledger of clients including major and smaller accounts
  • Daily banking and allocations
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Month-end reporting
  • Inbound queries
  • Customer refunds
  • Managing internal and external collection processes and partnering with a third party collections agency as well as maintaining that relationship.
  • Managing a team and dealing with escalations.
  • Offering support and guidance to junior members. Utilising Leadership experience and skills to reinforce a positive work culture.
  • Ad hoc duties as requested

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience within a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service focus with a strong understanding of commercial practices
  • Systems experience
