Description:
The Role
As the Accounts Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the Council’s finance payments are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with the Council’s Payment Policy and requires a high attention to detail and accuracy.
In this part-time (0.6 FTE) position, you will also assist the Finance Unit with general accounting and administrative tasks such as reconciling balance sheets, processing rates, accounts receivable, data entry and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will have a passion for providing high-quality service, be proactive and possess the following skills and experience.
Knowledge of accounts payable principals is desirable but not essential.
