The Role
The Accounting and Finance Discipline is seeking to appoint a teaching and research focused Lecturer in Accounting and Finance (ALEVB), who is experienced in developing and delivering introductory and advanced Accounting subjects at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will be expected to lead efforts and devise a strategy to grow the School’s research endeavours in Accounting and Finance and share good practice with industry and the professions. Reporting to the Associate Dean Discipline, the successful applicant will be instrumental in expanding the societal impact of the School, and further integrating discipline knowledge into the curricula and the School’s co-curricular activities.
Applicants must have a PhD in Accounting or related relevant discipline, and be teaching and research active with a demonstrable track record of substantial external research funding, and publications in top-tier international journals (ABDC A/A*) students. The successful applicants will have a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to any circumstance, by consulting and liaising confidently with the relevant stakeholders. Experience in developing and delivering introductory Finance-related subjects will be a plus.
