Description:
In this role, you will guide our clients through their business compliance and tax requirements, assisting them in improving their cash flow, minimizing tax liabilities, and ensuring all business compliance deadlines are met promptly.
What you’ll be doing?
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
- Manage tax compliance tasks including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, payroll, and other indirect tax calculations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives.
- Research tax issues, business structuring, wealth, and asset protection.
- Benchmark client businesses
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Provide support to Bookkeepers, overseeing accounts payable and payroll.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analyse
- journal preparation and posting.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year's experience in accounting or finance roles, in either industry or public practice.
- Currently pursuing a CA or CPA designation.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite, with strong capabilities in Excel.
- Experience with Xero software.
- Strong procedural focus and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and take a proactive approach.
