The role

This key accounting role will see you contribute to the ongoing growth and success of MaxiTRANS through a variety of finance related activities. This will include month-end reporting, BAS preparation, costings, and invoicing along with a number of other responsibilities.

Working in a small finance team alongside other experienced accountants you will be supported in a positive engaging environment. It will be your previous relevant experience in a company accounting role, exceptional interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to manage competing demands that will see you succeed in this role. Experience in Manufacturing will be advantageous.

Requirements of this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar internal accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment (5+ years)
  • Formal qualification in accounting or comparable professional experience
  • Experience completing month-end, costing, invoicing, and weekly reporting processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • A natural flair for detail
