Accountant

Description:

Owners of private businesses face many challenges throughout the business life cycle – from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. In developing your understanding of how to grow our clients’ business, you will get involved a broad range of activities including:

• Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients from SMEs to large companies
• Assisting with tax and accounting advice
• Building relationships with clients and colleagues
• Monitoring, reviewing and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies regarding compliance requirements
• Using a technology platform that is leading edge amongst all firms across Australia

Skills And Experience

You’ll be agile, responsive and committed to excellence in client service. Your passion for understanding your clients’ businesses will see you grow your expertise beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

• At least 2 years' experience in business advisory services within a chartered accounting environment
• In the process of completing the CA qualification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• A team player with a positive approach
• Passionate about growing your career in advisory
