The primary purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to underwriting, accounts, claims, credit control and brokers/clients.

You'll be responsible for
 

  • Responsible for accounts of medium to high complexity. Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files, reinsurance placements, and accounts / claims experience – and if required, escalation to UW in case of missing information. In case of Multinational program implementation, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciliation of all issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with UW. Authorization in line with assigned limits.
  • Using all relevant information to populate IT system(s) accurately and efficiently with new and renewed business. Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, e.g. policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Chase and reconcile premiums exploiting underwriting file and system entries in close collaboration with Credit Control. Liaise with underwriters, brokers, co- and reinsurer, to ensure timely premium payment.
  • Manage own daily, weekly, and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met. Adherence to risk management and compliance procedure. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and follow-up of all accounts in the respective responsibility and escalation, if required.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts and Brokers, attending relevant meetings, as required.
     

About You
 

  • Multinational business development experience, stakeholder management experience, or experience servicing multiple insurance lines (Property, Construction, Financial Lines, Liability, Motor Fleet, etc.) are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to continuously develop technical and systems knowledge, business, and insurance understanding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
  • Intermediate level of understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation.
