Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, in 1948 and has grown to become one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper and recycling companies. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will manage and grow established accounts in a nominated Sydney Metro territory while growing Visy’s footprint through prospecting and new business development activity. In working collaboratively with the wider sales team and other key stakeholders in our business, you will nurture existing customer relationships while looking to build new ones.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Retain and grow existing business, and actively seek new business.
  • Develop timely and accurate forecasts of customer requirements and carefully manage your territory utilising Salesforce.com.
  • Develop & execute sales strategies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities – be these in our own or in our customers’ business.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a range of disciplines.
  • Actively comply and contribute to OHS&E policies and procedures.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Relevant skills & experience gained through Internal / External Sales, Customer Service, Account management.
  • Experience in B2B sales would be highly regarded
  • Exposure to customer relationship management systems (CRM) & well versed in the use of Microsoft products.
  • Autonomous with strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, solution focused.
  • Clear, personable communicator with exceptional negotiation and relationship building capability.
