Account Manager

 

Description:


We are seeking a commercially astute, motivated, and achievement focused sales professional with the ability to plan, execute and drive activities to increase product penetration to achieve sales and margin targets. In this role you will be focused on developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships, utilising your strong strategic sales and negotiation skills
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager and working closely with a dedicated sales team.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving sales budgets and new business & retained sales targets
  • Identify and close opportunities for new business by providing innovative and responsive product solutions
  • Driving growth, range and product expansion of existing accounts
  • Managing key relationships to ensure professional and credible representation of the brand
  • Identifying, qualifying and selling to identified customers and prospects, focusing on product/market applications
  • Planning and clearly executing sales activity to drive increased penetration of product and/or services into new market segments
  • Maintain strong industry and competitor awareness, focused on leading edge solutions
  • Providing technical support and advice across range of products.
  • Accurately maintain and update relationship management records via the CRM system
  • Experience in Account Management where you demonstrated success in solution-based selling, sales conversion
  • An ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships
  • Analytical Skills and the ability to think holistically to determine alternative solutions
  • An appreciation of the need to balance commercial requirements and customer focused outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • FMCG/Packaging/Print sales experience
  • Perseverance and initiative to enable you to prospect and deliver key outcomes
  • Highly proactive and energised attitude with the ability to work closely and collaboratively with sales support functions.

You will possess highly developed presentation skills will be extremely valuable when supplying proposals and quotes to customers as will your awareness of movements and developments within all industries, including competitors. Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions in the marketplace will also be key to your success.
