About The Role

Role Location: Melbourne, VIC

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing revenue derived from a portfolio of high value Institutional clients across a broad cross section of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business origination strategy and capability
  • Drive focused organic growth strategy and capability
  • Achieve targets and growth in Revenue
  • Drive customer centric sales strategies at the portfolio level
  • Growth in share of wallet / cross-sell
  • Achieve leverage from product partnering opportunities with Relationship
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Effective pipeline management using Mercury and sales process
  • Upholds ANZ standards in risk & compliance as required

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and the flexibility to work in an environment of constant change
  • Ability to identify future needs of clients through key questioning techniques
  • Good understanding of Working Capital Management (at both financial and operational levels)
  • Excellent professional presence and exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills in order to manage client expectations
  • Understanding of transaction banking solutions
  • Client facing experience (in a sales capacity)
  • Understanding and experience with dealing with Corporate and Institutional customers is an advantage
  • Strong financial modelling skills

Good to have skills:

  • A knowledge of other transactional products and services sourced by Corporate Treasurers and Finance Managers
  • Knowledge of Markets and Treasury type products and services
  • Experience in dealing with a variety of customers in diverse industries
  • Experience in an external consulting background
  • Strong industry and economic research background
